Graduation Day for Alexis!
August 18, 2020
The whole Photoshoot was shot at the SUNY Fredonia Collage in Fredonia, NY.

This is a session I will never forget! We met at the SUNY Fredonia Campus, it was such a beautiful day. The lighting couldn’t of been any more perfect. Alexis had ideas on how she wanted some of her shots, it was all laughs and giggles as we tried to figure out how and where to take the photos while there were students walking around.
She knew what she wanted before we got to the campus and her personality was shining right through these photos. She killed it!

The SUNY Fredonia campus has beautiful architectural pieces. One of them being this huge Red piece. It made a great prop to use for some of the shots.

Immediately we started to notice the sun was fading and in seconds we had huge clouds just above us. Though we lost most of our light source, we still tried to make the best of it. We were only there for 30 minutes and in those 30 minutes we already had more than 15 amazing shots.

Quickly it started to rain but that wasn’t going to stop us! We continued to stay at the campus, running around looking for more places to shoot at.
As we walked around the campus, we noticed the sun was setting leaving behind a beautiful orange sunset! I had an idea to take the shot of Alexis walking down the sidewalk from behind as if it was her last days at the campus.
Alexis had brought a few ideas of her own, they were so creative and I was so excited to see the end results.

Instead of being a 1 hour session it was cut short due to the amount of rain that just had started to come down on us. Although we weren’t at the campus for too long, Alexis did such an amazing job that she was still able to get all her shots in before we had to leave.
We were both surprised at how quickly we lost sunlight, but Alexis wanted one more photo with the SUNY Fredonia rock sign that’s placed in front of the campus.

Overall, I had a great time shooting this Graduation Session!
CONGRATULATIONS ALEXIS!
